Welcome!

In football, a team of men gather in a huddle to hear the next play and then go out and execute it. In the huddle, a man finds time to compose himself in the midst of the surrounding noise and distractions that resonate from the opposing crowd. In the huddle, like-minded men re-connect their energy, re-ignite the flame of purpose and encourage one another. And so it is with CMF.

CMF encourages men to join our "spiritual huddle” and return with regularity to stay connected in Christ-centered friendships. At CMF gatherings, men connect with one another to genuinely discuss their Christian faith. They come together to exchange ideas, talk about relevant issues and challenges affecting their lives and find out how, in Christ, they can overcome them.

Signposts: How to Be a Catholic Man in Today's World. Next session is Saturday, April 26 at 8 am, St. Barbara's lower level in Harrison City. 2 NEW GROUP STUDIES BEGIN IN APRIL!!!

1. Essentials of Our Faith.Have you ever heard asked the following:

  • How can I be sure God Exists?
  • Aren't all religions really the same in the end?
  • Why do I have to go to Mass?
  • Who says I need salvation?
  • Why do I need a church?
Maybe we have heard these or similar questions from friends or family. Maybe we have even asked them ourselves. No matter what your question may be about our faith, the Catechism of the Catholic Church has answers to our questions. Sometimes we just need to know what the Church teaches on a certain subject, why does the Church have a certain doctrine. This study will take us through the catechism , as we learn the "Essentials of Our Faith"
This program meets from 7-9pm on the first Thursday of each month in the CLW room.
2. Understanding New Age Religions. In today's world, there are so many religions that people subscribe to and it can be difficult to understand what they really believe. This group will explore many new age religions and discuss how and why they conflict with our Catholic beliefs and the Church given to us by Jesus Christ himself. This group begins April 17th and will continue to meet the 3rd Thursday of each month in the CLW room at 7pm.
